Academic Structure

Beginning academic year 1996-1997, SKIA has adopted a collegiate Semester System:

Each academic session is divided into two academic semesters. Our foundation college divides the Semester System into Two-Year Study System and Four-Year System for degree completion. Phasing brings practical application to the curriculum structure to interface programs that prepare our students for the ladderized type of courses in business education and in information technology. 

Standards for accreditation at the CHED and the TESDA for trade test have been developed that combine general education and technical education courses of instruction consisting of 14 teaching weeks per semester.
