Ninety-percent of our faculty members are holders of professional licensure certificate, and some holds the highest degree in their fields. The student-faculty ratio is approximately (35:1) in the Grade School and High School.
At SKIA, most students know their teachers and instructors on a first name basis. College students are assigned faculty advisors upon entry to college in the semester of their first year.
All elementary and secondary students are assigned classroom advisers.

Faculty Advising
I
Sultan Kudarat Islamic Academy believes that a faculty academic advising does foster instructional and positive relationships. Indeed, we mean it when we say: “Advising is professional.”
At its best, advising may extend beyond graduation into life-long value formation cherished by both faculty and student
Our faculty advisers not only serve as mentors but guide students during their students life at the college campus.
The goal of academic advising at SKIA is to help students achieve their educational objectives and benefit as fully as possible from their learning experience. To benefit from academic advising program, students must demonstrate their commitment to academic study, honesty, respect and personal initiative. The personal attention that SKIA faculty gives to our students in the classroom is the foundation for our strong advising program.
